Online ELTiS System Requirements

Each student taking the Online ELTiS requires a device with an earphones/headset. The test center/proctor is responsible for maintaining test security during testing. Ballard & Tighe will provide free online training for test proctors.

Speakers/Headphones/Earphones
  • Speakers are needed to listen to the audio throughout the Listening test and to hear instructions.
  • Headphones/earphones are recommended if multiple test takers are being tested simultaneously.
Webcam Optional (to take test taker's photo)
Internet For best experience, 1 Mbps recommended.
Security
  • Devices must be secure so that the test taker does not have access to unauthorized websites and applications.
  • Bring your own device (BYOD) poses a range of security risks and is not permitted.

* Screen dimensions must be 10" or larger. Mobile devices with smaller screens are not recommended.
